Hi, my name is Trish.  I am the owner/creator of Downeast Candle Company.  I've worked in the real estate industry for a number of years.  I've always loved candles.  When I move to a part time work schedule, a few years ago, I saw the opportunity to dive into candle making, researching, practicing, testing...  

I love the creativity, science and chemistry of making candles.  What started as a hobby, became a passionate business endeavor, that I am happy to share with you.
